Miller Foods, Inc., the family-owned company behind the Oma's Pride and Miller Farms brands, announced that Capri Brighenti stepped down from her role as CEO effective January 1, 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition into the fourth generation of family ownership.

Brighenti spent more than 25 years at Miller Foods, including the past 15 years in executive leadership. During her tenure, the company expanded distribution capabilities, grew national retail and e-commerce presence, and launched Miller Farms Cares, the family's 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

"I have always seen my role as a bridge, honoring the generations who built this business before me while intentionally preparing and supporting the generations who would carry it forward," said Brighenti. "Family businesses face long odds, and only an estimated three percent of family-owned companies in the United States successfully make it to the fourth generation. Being part of that transition is something I am incredibly proud of."

Effective January 1, 2026, Adam DeJulius assumed the role of CEO and president of Miller Foods, Inc., working alongside his brother, Nick DeJulius, who leads operations.

"I'm incredibly grateful for the foundation that Capri and the generations before her have built, and I feel a real responsibility to steward Miller Foods into its fourth generation," said DeJulius. "Alongside my brother Nick, I'm excited to keep serving pet parents, our team, our partners, and our community while modernizing the business and building long-term strength. We're committed to honoring where we've come from while leading boldly into what's ahead."

Brighenti will remain on the board of directors and continue supporting the company through procurement consulting and brokerage work. She will also remain engaged in fundraising efforts for Miller Farms Cares.

Miller Foods is based in Avon, Connecticut, U.S.
