The Farmer's Dog has announced a new partnership with Jess Pegula, the top-ranked U.S. women's tennis player, to support A Lending Paw Foundation, an organization that helps rescue dogs become service animals.
Pegula, who owns three rescue dogs — Maddie, Des and Mabel — co-founded A Lending Paw Foundation, which rescues, rehabilitates and trains dogs to serve as service animals for people in need.
As part of the multiyear partnership, The Farmer's Dog will provide its meals to dogs in A Lending Paw's care and will support fundraising efforts for the organization's rescue, rehabilitation, training and placement programs.
"My dogs are family, so giving them the best care possible has always been incredibly important to me," Pegula said. "The Farmer's Dog believes what I do — that every dog deserves real food and great care. Through A Lending Paw, we've seen rescue dogs completely transform someone's world, and I'm excited that together we can help even more dogs get that opportunity."
Pegula is The Farmer's Dog's first tennis partner, joining a roster of athletes partnered with the brand.

Pegula will also participate in Dog Comfort Days, The Farmer's Dog's community initiative that brings dogs to communities in need.
