Jiminy's, a manufacturer of insect based pet food and treats, offers the original cricket cookie line of cricket based dog treats. The treats are made with cricket protein instead of traditional animal based protein sources such as beef or chicken.

According to the company, the treats produce less greenhouse gas emissions than treats made with meat-based protein sources. The cricket based treats contain 31 grams of protein per 100 grams and contain omega fats, B12, iron, calcium, fiber and potassium. The treats' ingredients are sourced in North America.
