Austria Pet Food produces high quality wet dog- and cat-food in cans for Private Label Brands of top European Retail & Pet Food chains and Pet Food brand holders. In total the company has customers in more than 25 European countries and also outside Europe in South-East Asia, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa and as of 2020 also in the United States. It produces approx. 60.000 tons p.a. on its production site in Poettelsdorf, Austria and reached a turnover of 31 M€ in 2020. During the last year the company invested 2.5 M€ in a new pate/all meat can line which went live in the first quarter 2021.
Austria Pet Food was founded in 2012 and has developed into one of the most successful start-up companies in the European Pet Food industry. It is located approximately 40km south-east of Vienna in the area of Burgenland, the most eastern province of Austria. The company is owned by a group of investors comprising Pet Food Holding GmbH & Co KG, Athena Burgenland Beteiligungen AG, BRB Burgenländische Risikokapital Beteiligungen AG, Bruckner Holding GmbH and the management.
