Zesty Paws has named Zsa Zsa, a Pekingese from Kentucky, as its first chief taste officer following a public contest that invited pet parents to showcase their animals’ personalities on Instagram.
“Zsa Zsa’s zesty pawsonality shone brightly in her musical entry where she showcased her love of Zesty Paws, flawless palette, watchdog skills, zoomies, snores, dance moves and even her professional work wardrobe along to an original song performed by her pet mom,” said Claudia Hartel, senior marketing director at H&H Group, parent company of Zesty Paws. “We’re excited to celebrate all the ways our pets bring us joy as we welcome Zsa Zsa to our team as our first chief taste officer.”
As chief taste officer, Zsa Zsa will appear in Zesty Paws’ social media and advertising campaigns. She will receive $25,000 and a year’s supply of Zesty Paws products.
“Zsa Zsa is eager to get started sniffing, sampling and taste-testing Zesty Paws’ latest and greatest products in her new role of chief taste officer,” said Beth, Zsa Zsa’s executive assistant and pet parent. “We’re proud to be working alongside a brand that truly believes pets deserve the best when it comes to care and ingredients, and we’re excited to encourage more pet parents to better care for their besties, too.”
