Rondo Foods invests in expansion at Ireland pet treat production facility

Gaines Europe Ltd. has opened a new petfood production facility in Arklow, Ireland, that will create 15 new jobs in the region. Parent company Rondo Food invested €6 million (US$8.1 million) in the new facility to double outputs and exports by 2015.

Texas A&M to host short course on feeds, petfood extrusion in January 2014

A one-week Practical Short Course on Feeds & Pet Food Extrusion will be presented January 19-24, 2014, at Texas A&M University by staff, industry representatives and consultants. The program will cover information on designing new feed mills and selecting conveying, drying, grinding, conditioning and feed mixing equipment.
