Wellness Pet Company has named Alex Toussaint, a high-performance athlete and pet parent, as its first global ambassador. Thecompany announced the partnership April 7, timed to coincide with Active Dog Month.
Toussaint owns two dogs, Cassius and Brodie. Through the year-long partnership, he will create content and community experiences promoting nutrition and daily activity for pets and their owners, and will incorporate Wellness Pet products — including the company's new Wellness Protein Bowls — into that content.
"My dogs are my heart, and helping them live healthy, joyful lives is a huge priority for me," Toussaint said.
