The Farmer's Dog announced a multiyear partnership with the National Football League, becoming the league's first official pet food partner.
"The NFL is all about bringing people together through shared experiences and community," said Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL. "Dogs are an important part of many families, and as the official pet food partner, The Farmer's Dog will help us celebrate the role they play in our lives and communities throughout the season."
Throughout the year, the partnership will include content and experiences at NFL events, including Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft, along with community initiatives through programs such as My Cause My Cleats, NFL Salute to Service and NFL Flag.

"I've had Duke for every high and every low," said Skattebo. "He's been my teammate long before football became my career. I started feeding him The Farmer's Dog because I wanted as many healthy years with him as possible. If The Farmer's Dog teaming up with the NFL gets even one more person thinking differently about what they feed their dog, that's something I'm proud to be part of."
The NFL and Skattebo join other Farmer's Dog partners, including "The Oprah Podcast," NASCAR champion Ryan Blaney and U.S. women's tennis player Jess Pegula. The company also serves as the official pet food of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
"We understand more than ever how much what we eat impacts our health and performance. NFL players live that every day, and people increasingly recognize the same is true for their dogs," said Jonathan Regev, CEO and co-founder of The Farmer's Dog. "We started The Farmer's Dog because for too long, feeding your dog meant choosing between different versions of the same ultra-processed food. This partnership gives us an incredible opportunity to show millions more people there's a better way.
"Everything we do is about helping dogs live healthier lives and giving people more time with them — more games, more Sundays and more seasons together," added Regev. "Dogs have an incredible ability to make our lives better, and we're proud to partner with the NFL to celebrate that bond and what it means to have a dog by your side through all of it."
