Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has introduced Patch Pals, its first cookie created specifically for dogs, as part of the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie lineup.
The soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies were developed with BARK and will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning Jan. 12, 2027, coinciding with the national launch of the cookie season.
Each cookie features one of four "patch" designs representing Girl Scout experiences. The new product will be sold alongside returning cookies such as Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs.
GSUSA said the cookie was inspired by Girl Scouts across the country who had advocated for expanding the cookie lineup to meet the needs of their communities.
Girl Scout Cookie season is recognized nationally from January through April, though local dates vary by region. Proceeds from cookie sales stay local, supporting Girl Scout councils and troops and funding activities including outdoor programs, travel, community service projects, STEM programming and leadership development.
