The Farmer’s Dog partners with chef Molly Baz

The fresh dog food company named the cookbook author as its newest brand partner and launched a social media series with her as the first guest.

The Farmer’s Dog launched a partnership with best-selling cookbook author and chef Molly Baz.

According to the company, Baz has fed her 8-year-old dachshund, Tuna, The Farmer’s Dog since Tuna was a puppy.

The company cited Rover data showing 51% of Gen Z and 48% of millennials view pets as a “trial run” for parenthood. The partnership highlights Baz’s transition from dog owner to mother.

The Farmer’s Dog also launched Dog Person Bingo, a social media series in which a celebrity dog owner plays bingo while answering questions. Baz is the series’ first guest.

Baz joins the company’s other partners, which include The Oprah Podcast, NASCAR champion Ryan Blaney and Jess Pegula, the No. 1-ranked U.S. women’s tennis player.
