
The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) will hold its 2026 Annual Conference at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix, May 19-21, bringing together animal supplement manufacturers, suppliers and industry stakeholders for three days of regulatory, market and business sessions.
Legal Essentials Seminar leads off
The conference opens Tuesday, May 19, with the new NASC & Venable Legal Essentials Seminar, running 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Developed in response to member feedback, the full-day program covers compliance requirements, claims substantiation and enforcement realities, with a focus on mitigating both regulatory and legal risk. The seminar will include a legal panel and audience Q&A.
Trends, regulation, AI and more on the agenda
The NASC Annual Conference agenda features a wide range of educational opportunities. Wednesday and Thursday breakout sessions will address consumer trends, evolving pet ownership patterns, AI in marketing, and merger and acquisition activity.
Dr. Timothy Schell, Ph.D., director of FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine, will deliver the keynote address on Thursday. Representatives from Canada's Veterinary Drugs Directorate will also present, reviewing requirements for marketing products in Canada under the Canadian Natural Health Products Program.

New Treat Program introduced
On Wednesday, NASC leadership will share details about its new NASC Treat Program, which extends its compliance programs and Quality Seal to treat products for dogs, cats and horses, marking the organization's first major scope expansion in its 25-year history.
Networking and 25th anniversary celebration
Networking breaks and evening social events are scheduled throughout the conference. The final night will mark NASC's 25th anniversary with a Silver Gala.
