South Asia and Southeast Asia are expected to account for 50% of the growth in Asia’s demand for poultry meat to the decade end. By 2030, their markets are forecast to be 30% bigger.

Asia’s demand for poultry is expected to grow by 13 million metric tons (MT) between 2023 and 2030, with Southeast Asia accounting for 3.3 million MT and South Asia for 3.2 million MT.
