Further processing converts raw poultry into products consumers may find more convenient, a factor becoming increasingly important to U.S. shoppers. Nearly two-thirds (67%) of Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, indicated that fast meal prep will be a priority to them now and throughout the next five years, according to data presented at the 2024 Chicken Marketing Summit from a survey from the National Chicken Council (NCC) and WATT Global Media.
