Open Farm has partnered with Pet Supermarket to expand the availability of its premium pet food products. The company said the collaboration brings Open Farm’s sustainably-sourced and humanely raised pet food to 182 Pet Supermarket locations, increasing access for pet owners in the Southeastern U.S.
Starting April 3, Pet Supermarket will carry a selection of Open Farm products, including kibble, RawMix, wet food, stews, and the brand’s newest offerings — Functional Kibble for Dogs and Gently Cooked Classics. The retailer will also introduce future Open Farm product innovations as they are released.
“At Open Farm, we are committed to raising the bar in pet nutrition with premium, responsibly sourced ingredients,” said Amy Horton, chief sales officer at Open Farm. “Pet Supermarket’s neighborhood-focused approach makes them an ideal partner to help us connect with local pet parents seeking high-quality, nutritious options for their pets.”
Pet Supermarket, a pet supply retailer, emphasizes community engagement and expert customer service. The company’s commitment to pet well-being aligns with Open Farm’s mission to provide traceable, responsibly sourced ingredients in pet food, said Harry Freed, senior vice president of merchandising at Pet Supermarket.
"With our shared commitment to providing the best for pets, this collaboration aligns seamlessly with our values, offering even more pets the opportunity to enjoy nourishing meals that support a healthier, happier life," he said.
The company said the expansion marks a significant step for Open Farm in increasing the accessibility of its products to a wider audience through a regional retailer.
