Three Dog Brands announced the opening of an 87,000-square-foot manufacturing and operations facility in the Kansas City metro area. The multi-functional site will support production, packing and distribution, while serving as a hub for the company's corporate leadership, operations and support teams.
The facility will increase the company's capacity to meet demand for its Three Dog Bakery treats. Three Dog Brands recently entered the meaty and protein segment with the launch of Bark'n Crunch! Chicken Chips.
"This new facility marks a pivotal investment in our long-term growth strategy," said Kristi Ross, chief executive officer of Three Dog Brands. "Expanding our U.S. manufacturing footprint will increase operational efficiency, strengthen our supply chain, and enhance our ability to serve our retail partners. The Kansas City region has been an exceptional home to grow our business, and this next step enables us to support innovation, jobs, and production at a much larger scale."
Production of Bark'n Crunch! Chicken Chips will be accelerated at the Kansas City facility. The site features upgraded manufacturing technology to boost supply chain flexibility and efficiency.
The facility investment is part of process improvement initiatives across automation, packaging optimization and capacity enhancements. Three Dog Bakery treats, including Assort"Mutt" Trio, Lick'n Crunch!, Puppy Butters and Bark'n Crunch! Chicken Chips, are available nationwide across e-commerce, grocery, pet specialty and mass retailers.

According to Petfood Industry's Top Pet Food Companies, Three Dog Bakery was established in 1989 as an all-natural bakery for dogs. The company operates a network of 35 bakeries in 14 states, Canada and Hong Kong.
