Champion Petfoods appointed Jaime Mahoney as general manager for North America, a newly created leadership role overseeing business operations across the U.S. and Canada for the company's ORIJEN and ACANA brands.
Mahoney joins Champion Petfoods from JDE Peet's, where she most recently served as CEO of JDE USA, leading the company's premium tea and coffee portfolios. Her background includes general management, e-commerce, marketing, innovation and global supply chain logistics.

In the role, Mahoney will lead a North American leadership team and drive regional strategy for the brands. The company said the appointment reflects its focus on its North American market opportunities.
