Open Farm has launched GoodGut, a digestive health-focused dog food line developed in partnership with Lifeway Foods, the kefir brand.

The line features a complete prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic system designed to support gut microbiome health across life stages. Each recipe delivers 2 billion CFUs per pound, powered by CanineCulture, a proprietary blend of 10 probiotic strains developed with Lifeway Foods.

GoodGut was formulated by Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel, BSc, DVM, DVSc, Dip. ECVCN, Open Farm's head of veterinary nutrition.

"A healthy gut microbiome is central to nearly every system in the body," Tal-Gavriel said. "With GoodGut, we focused on building a balanced, resilient foundation that supports digestion, nutrient absorption, immune health and overall vitality, starting early and continuing through every life stage."

The line combines kibble with freeze-dried raw pieces in three single-protein recipes: wild-caught salmon, grass-fed beef and harvest chicken. Open Farm describes all protein sources as humanely raised, sustainably sourced and non-GMO. Packaging is recyclable.

GoodGut is available at OpenFarmPet.com and pet stores across North America.
