Camlin Fine Sciences (CFS) has appointed Melissa Weber, Ph.D., as senior sales director – Animal, North America. Weber will lead commercial strategy and customer engagement across CFS's Animal business, which spans livestock, pet food and rendering markets.
Weber comes to CFS from Wilbur-Ellis/Rangen, where she served as director of technical services, leading innovation strategy and technical sales, and aligning R&D, sales and operations. Her background includes roles at Mars Petcare and Cargill, as well as experience in product development and customer-facing positions.
"Melissa understands what our customers are up against — tight margins, complex formulations, and the need for consistent performance," said Jennifer Igou, president, CFS North America. "She knows how to take technical capabilities and turn them into solutions that work in real production environments. That's exactly where we're focused as we grow our Animal business."
Weber said her decision to join CFS was driven by the company's approach to customer partnership.
