Balchem Corp. has implemented a global price increase across its animal nutrition and health product portfolio, including choline chloride, micro‑encapsulated amino acids and other specialty nutrition products.
The price increase went into effect on April 15, or as permitted under existing contractual agreements.
Ongoing geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East have driven widespread volatility across global markets, resulting in increased energy prices, higher costs for certain raw materials and chemical inputs, increased freight costs, and volatility in global shipping patterns, the company said in a May 1 press release. These conditions have impacted production economics and supply chain costs across the animal nutrition industry.
Balchem said it remains committed to providing high‑quality, reliable nutrition solutions and maintaining supply continuity during this period of market disruption. Customers are encouraged to contact their Balchem sales representative for additional information.
