The Nutriment Company (TNC), a European supplier of natural pet food, is acquiring Frostfutter Perleberg, a German direct-to-consumer platform specializing in raw feeding (BARF) products, from K&K Petfood GmbH. According to the company, the deal adds one of Germany's leading B2C raw feeding platforms to TNC's portfolio and strengthens the company's position in the fresh-frozen segment.

Frostfutter Perleberg has operated for more than 15 years, producing frozen raw products, wet food, chews and supplements at its own production facility. The company processes ingredients under EU guidelines with an emphasis on quality, transparency and regional sourcing.

TNC said the acquisition enhances its direct-to-consumer capabilities and expands its footprint in Germany's growing fresh-frozen pet food market.

"With the acquisition of Frostfutter Perleberg and eBarf, we are gaining a business with a clear quality positioning and high customer loyalty," said Anders Kristiansen, CEO of The Nutriment Company. "For over 15 years, they have championed natural, species-appropriate nutrition that meets the highest standards. This mission perfectly aligns with our own commitment to providing healthy, premium pet food that contributes to the long-term health and happiness of dogs and cats."

Julius Adrian, managing director of Western Europe at The Nutriment Company, said the integration is expected to generate operational efficiencies. "The combination of in-house production, regional sourcing and a strong direct customer base makes Frostfutter Perleberg and eBarf an ideal addition to our portfolio. Integrating them into our existing structure will allow us to realize operational synergies and enable further growth," he said.
