K9 Natural has launched its Baked & Coated high-protein dog food line in Canada exclusively through Pet Valu stores, featuring three recipes with 40% protein and 90% digestibility made from natural animal ingredients like grass-fed beef, poultry, and wild ocean fish.

Natural Pet Food Group, the parent company of K9 Natural and Feline Natural, announced the Canadian launch of K9 Natural Baked & Coated dog food.
The dry food is available exclusively through May 2027 at the Pet Valu family of stores, which includes Pet Valu, Bosley’s by Pet Valu, Paulmac’s Pets, Tisol and Total Pet. Pet Valu began carrying K9 Natural products in fall 2025.
The Baked & Coated line includes three recipes: Grass-Fed Red, made with New Zealand beef and lamb; Cage-Free Poultry, made with chicken and turkey; and Wild Ocean Fish, made with salmon, herring, cod and whitefish.
According to the company, each recipe contains 40% protein and is 90% digestible. Animal ingredients make up the first eight ingredients and provide natural sources of omega-3 fatty acids and glucosamine. The recipes also include kiwifruit, shiitake mushroom and ginger root as fiber sources. The formulas are grain-free and contain no meat meals or artificial preservatives, colors or flavors.

Baked & Coated joins K9 Natural’s freeze-dried and wet foods at Pet Valu and is the brand’s first dry food offering at the retailer.
