Provisur Technologies employee owners held Swing Fore a Cause, a charity golf outing at Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, Illinois, to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Frankfort Township Food Pantry.

The event collected four cases of canned goods for the Frankfort Township Food Pantry and raised $5,000 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository through sponsorships and onsite fundraising. A matching donation from Fortifi doubled the food depository donation to $10,000.

Five Provisur employee owners also volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, where they helped pack 18,175 pounds of food, equal to 15,146 meals for Chicago-area residents in need.

“The work of the Greater Chicago Food Depository is vitally important to our community, and we are proud and humbled to stand alongside its volunteers and staff,” said Rob Kalkowski, president of Provisur. “What they do for the people of Chicagoland is invaluable.”

Provisur is part of Fortifi Food Processing Solutions, a global food processing automation platform focused on reducing food insecurity, loss and waste. Fortifi’s Enriching Communities initiative supports those priorities in the local communities of Fortifi companies through volunteering, donations and events such as Swing Fore a Cause.
