Pet Like, a prominent company in Vietnam that offers a wide range of pet products and services, and Famsun, a systems equipment and engineering company in China, recently announced the completion of Pet Like's high-end full-process pet food factory, a first in Vietnam.
As Pet Like's turnkey solution provider, Famsun said it built a manufacturing plant with a completely integrated production line that covers grinding, mixing, extrusion, drying, and coating, supported by a fully enclosed conveying system and an intelligent control system to ensure efficiency, stability and hygiene.
The new manufacturing plant will produce premium pet food and snacks.
Dedicated approach to production
Im Kyu Soon, factory director of Pet Like, said their goal was to build not just a factory but a safer and more dedicated approach to manufacturing.
"We see pets as family and their food deserves the same care," he said. "Our new high-end facility is setting a new standard for pet food production here in Vietnam. We built this factory because we truly believe pets deserve to be treated seriously."
Joe Li, Famsun project delivery expert, said Pet Like's deep understanding of pet food guided the project from design to delivery. "We optimized countless details on-site to align perfectly with their vision," Li added.
Custom-designed equipment
At the new Pet Like factory, every piece of equipment is custom-engineered for pet food, said Li. It features a fully enclosed pneumatic system to transfer finished pellets with zero contact, preventing dust emissions and cross-contamination.
The new plant is equipped with Famsun's proprietary SDPC Smart Control System that dynamically adjusts fan frequency in real time to respond to pressure and flow changes. This allows smoother, more stable conveying and reduces energy consumption by over 30%.
From raw material handling to vacuum coating, Famsun said the entire setup is meticulously engineered so that every step in the production meets the highest international standards, especially when it comes to hygiene.
Pet Like's new factory will serve not only the company's own requirements but also customers from the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
