Dog owners who subscribe to BarkBox, the monthly subscription treats and toys box for dogs, will include alligator treats by Delca Corporation in January 2014. The companies have teamed up to deliver a package of think!dog Louisiana Alligator Treats in the January 2014 mailing.
"We love creating partnerships in the pet industry that help us all reach a common goal - making pets happy," said Blaine Sherwin, sales director for key accounts at Delca. "BarkBox not only believes every dog should be happy and healthy, but they also give back to important nonprofit organizations with every box they deliver. This fits perfectly with our own company goals for giving and community involvement."
The treats were first launched in October. The main ingredients are sourced from sustainable family farms and fisheries in the bayou of Louisiana, USA, the company says.
Subscribers to BarkBox receive a selection of dog products, such as toys, treats, bones, hygiene products and essentials, based on dog size and preferences. BarkBox donates 10 percent of its proceeds to local shelters and rescues across the United States and Canada.
