Dubai to host pet food and animal feed conference

The first Dubai International Animal Feed/Pet Food Safety conference will occur November 23, reported WAM Emirates News Agency. The focus of the event will be on sustainability of animal feed and pet food safety. The event will be held at the Birds and Pet Market in the Al Warsan area.

Dubai pet food conference content

The two-day conference was organized by the Dubai Municipality. The conferences will include presentations on the rules and regulations related to the animal feed and pet food sector, as well as the sectors’ effects on public and animal health.

Representatives from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), the US Pet Foods Institute, Jordan University of Science and Technology, as well as federal agencies such as Ministry of Climate Change and Environment will participate in the event.

The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, municipalities of different emirates and the UAE University will also attend, in addition to local and international private companies in the animal feed and pet food trade sector.

An animal feed and pet food products exhibitions will also be held in conjunction with the conference.
