PetAg has maintained a partnership with Pawsperity, a nonprofit grooming school, for more than five years. This year, the pet nutrition and wellness company contributed approximately $80,000 MSRP in grooming products and education to support the organization's program.
Pawsperity operates a seven-month dog grooming training program in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S., that includes life skills classes and services such as case management, a food pantry and housing assistance. The program uses dogs from the community and offers grooming services at reduced costs.
PetAg's Fresh 'n Clean line is used in Pawsperity's daily operations. The company's grooming expert, Dr. Dale Sanson, has conducted hands-on training sessions for students and graduates of the program.
"Through continued investment, education, and product donations, PetAg continues to champion its mission of helping pets and pet owners enjoy more healthy, happy years together," said PetAg.
The grooming school generates revenue that supports Pawsperity's operations.
