PawCo has launched PawCo AI, an AI-powered dog nutrition assistant designed to provide personalized, veterinary-informed guidance to pet owners.

The company said the platform addresses what it describes as a gap in accessible pet nutrition guidance, consolidating diet, ingredient and health questions into a single tool. The system draws on peer-reviewed research and veterinary-informed data sets, and incorporates information from AAFCO, AVMA, ASPCA and the FDA. It also cross-references ingredients against toxicity databases.

"Dog owners have endless questions about diet, ingredients, and overall wellness and nutrition, but there hasn't been a fast, reliable way to get clear answers," said Dr. Mahsa Vazin, founder of PawCo. "We built PawCo AI to make credible, science-backed guidance instantly accessible and personalized to each individual dog, so pet parents can feel confident they're making the best possible decisions for their dog's long-term health."

According to the company, the platform generates feeding plans and meal recommendations based on inputs including a dog's weight, age, activity level and health conditions. It also includes an ingredient safety check function and product recommendations that are not limited to PawCo's own product line.

PawCo AI is available at chat.mypawco.com.
