The EOL Group has restructured its executive leadership, appointing Roger Schmidt as chief executive officer effective April 1, 2026. Sebastian Jost, who previously served as CEO, transitions to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Schmidt brings more than 30 years of experience in the global machinery and plant engineering industry. Most recently working as an independent interim executive, he has expertise in business transformation, business development and international expansion, including global business unit development and cross-location operations management.
Jost, recognized for his focus on operational excellence, will apply that expertise in his new COO role by optimizing workflows, managing production processes and improving on-time delivery.
The EOL Group said the restructuring is designed to address increasing operational complexity while advancing the company's growth and internationalization strategy.
