IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients has appointed Alana Brown as sales manager for North America. Brown will joined IQI's North American sales team in May.
Brown has a decade of experience in quality and R&D in the pet food industry. Most recently, she served as North American customer technical insights manager at AFB International, where she partnered with the sales team to address the product and technical needs of AFB's key customers. She was responsible for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions intended to drive customer satisfaction and company growth.
"Alana's experience and knowledge of pet food and ingredient formulation as well as manufacturing will be a huge benefit to IQI and its customers," said Brooke Eiler, sales manager North America.
Before joining AFB, Brown worked as a research associate at Monsanto Co. (now Bayer) and as a pet nutrition specialist for Crossmark. She also worked as a research assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned her degree in animal sciences.
In her new role, Brown will manage customer relationships and apply her technical and customer knowledge to support IQI's growth strategy and its customers.
