Earthborn Holistic Pet Food marked a decade of its Earthborn ReBorn sustainability program by announcing it has recycled more than 2 million pet food and treat bags through its partnership with TerraCycle. The program, which launched in October 2015, has kept 260,649 pounds of packaging waste out of landfills.
The program allows consumers to drop off empty Earthborn Holistic bags at participating retail locations for recycling and upcycling at no cost. The company partners with TerraCycle to process the collected packaging.

"Through the Earthborn ReBorn Program with TerraCycle, we've made sustainability simple and accessible. Together, we're not only providing a sustainable end-of-life for our packaging, but also investing in a healthier, more sustainable future for both pets and the planet."
All Earthborn Holistic dog food packaging contains 25% recycled material, using the ISCC mass balance approach to track material flow in the chemical industry.
