Charter Next Generation (CNG) has earned accreditation from the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC), a nonprofit organization that advances measurable sustainability progress across the pet industry through benchmarking, tools and third-party verification.
CNG joined PSC in 2025 and received the two-year accreditation following an evaluation of its sustainability initiatives, policies and impact across human rights and labor, procurement, technology and innovation, and environmental health and safety.
"Meaningful progress on sustainability happens across the value chain, not within any single company," said James Rosenberger, product manager of sustainable solutions at CNG. "For CNG, achieving PSC accreditation reflects that belief and reinforces our commitment to being the kind of partner that helps our customers move forward with confidence."
CNG is a domestic supplier of specialty films and advanced materials for pet food packaging applications, including films for pet food, treats and large formats. Its GreenArrow portfolio of sustainable films is designed to help customers meet source reduction goals and prepare for extended producer responsibility requirements. The portfolio includes more than 550 films pre-qualified for the How2Recycle Store Drop-Off label, third-party-certified recycled-content materials and downgauging capabilities.
