The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) held its first European Pet Sustainability Awards ceremony May 12 at the PSC Interzoo Networking Event in Nuremberg, Germany.

Presented before global pet industry leaders attending Interzoo, the awards recognized companies demonstrating progress across packaging, ingredient innovation, climate action and industry collaboration. The awards are exclusive to PSC Accredited companies, which have completed what PSC describes as the pet industry's only third-party verified sustainability accreditation process.

"It's easy, especially in sustainability, to focus on what's not working or how far we still have to go," said Jim Lamancusa, CEO of the Pet Sustainability Coalition. "But the reality is, there has been meaningful progress across this industry. By recognizing and celebrating the work being done, we create momentum. We highlight what's possible. And we help move the entire industry forward."
