Partner in Pet Food (PPF), a European pet food manufacturer, acquired Landini Giuntini, an Italian pet food manufacturer.
Headquartered in Città di Castello, Italy, Landini Giuntini is the largest private label dry pet food manufacturer in Italy, according to the company. Founded in 1956, the business has a long history of producing high quality pet food across different product categories, for Italian and international customers, including supermarkets and specialty pet food retailers.
Landini Giuntini is complementary to PPF, given its geographical presence, product offering and growth prospects, and reflects PPF’s strategy to further globalize its business and expand its premium pet food categories. Landini Giuntini’s management team, led by Steven Giuntini with the support of Gino Giuntini, will continue to run the business after it becomes part of the PPF Group.
This transaction follows PPF’s recent acquisition of Doggy, a leading Swedish pet food manufacturer, in September 2020, as part of its consolidation strategy to grow and internationalise the business and widen its product offering to customers.
