Canada-based Petcetera will sell all remaining inventory at its 45 stores after filing for bankruptcy protection in March.
The going-out-of-business sale will be conducted by the Great American Group . The sale is expected to last up to 10 weeks, with some stores closing sooner.
"It is disappointing to see Petcetera closing its stores, but consumers and their pets will benefit from the … discounts until all of the merchandise is sold," said Steven Smith, vice president of financial operations at the Great American Group.
