The Petfood Forum 2017 app, just released, allows pet food professionals registered for the conference to create a personalized schedule, learn about sessions, speakers and exhibitors and, new this year, connect with other registered participants to schedule meetings via a private email feature.

After downloading the app, you can use your Petfood Forum registration badge number to log in; then you can see other registrants who are at the conference and logged into the app. If you want to set up a meeting or say hello to a peer or potential new connection, you can send a private email through the app (no email address will be revealed on either end).

In addition, Petfood Forum participants can use the app to find discounts at restaurants and attractions near the Kansas City Convention Center and conference hotels, give immediate survey feedback on the sessions they attend and be eligible for a prize drawing, as well as see maps of the convention center and exhibit hall, learn about the Petfood Forum Student Program and share their conference experience through social media, directly from the app.

Also available via the app will be links to secure websites to access Petfood Forum conference proceedings and drafts of the PowerPoint presentations. (Final versions of the presentations will be available within a few weeks after Petfood Forum.)

To download the app, search for Petfood Forum 2017 in iTunes for Apple devices or Google Play for Android devices; or visit http://chirpe.com/petfoodforum2017.

Petfood Forum 2017 takes place April 3-5 at the Kansas City Convention Center, with Petfood Innovation Workshop: Taste of Pet Food’s Future, occurring on April 3. Discounts are available if you register for both events.
