Open Farm has added Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel, a board-certified veterinary nutritionist (ECVCN), to its internal team as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen its formulation expertise and expand its pet nutrition capabilities.
A graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Tal-Gavriel brings experience in dry, wet, and functional pet food formulation, regulatory compliance across AAFCO, FDA, and USDA, ingredient sourcing and quality assurance, and scientific communication. She has also worked on product innovations targeting functional and metabolic health in companion animals.
In her new role, Dr. Tal-Gavriel will contribute to product development, nutritional formulation, and cross-functional initiatives related to pet parent experience, food safety and quality assurance and sustainability.
