Pet Flavors, a Melbourne, Florida, U.S.-based producer of pharmaceutical-grade flavor bases and palatants for pet pharmaceuticals, announced the appointment of Dr. Loïc Le Hir de Fallois, Ph.D., as interim CEO.
"I am honored to join Pet Flavors," Le Hir de Fallois said. "The company has a strong technical foundation and a clear opportunity to expand its impact in pet palatability and companion animal health. I look forward to working with the team to drive growth and deliver value to our customers and partners."
Le Hir de Fallois is a chemist whose background spans pharmaceutical small-molecule Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC). His career includes senior leadership roles at Merial and Boehringer Ingelheim, most recently as executive director of pharmaceutical development U.S., where he led an R&D site and supported the development and launch of animal health products.
"Loïc is an accomplished R&D leader, and we are pleased to welcome him to Pet Flavors," said board member Dr. Fabian Kausche. "Having worked with Loïc previously, I have seen his thoughtful and effective approach to animal health product development and team leadership. His scientific background and operating experience will be valuable as we continue to build on our capabilities and serve customers."
Loïc combines strong technical expertise with meaningful industry experience, said board member Randolph Legg. "Over his 25-year career, Loïc has consistently supported the development and scale-up of pharmaceutical operations," said Legg. "Having partnered with him in the past, I believe he will deliver significant value to our customers as Pet Flavors continues to grow."
