Seneca Trading has named Roger Lund general manager of its pet food division. In the role, Lund will lead expansion of the company's ingredient portfolio for pet food manufacturers throughout North America.
Lund has more than 20 years of experience in global sourcing, international sales and supply chain management. He has held roles at Mars, Bumble Bee, Solid Gold, Nature's Variety and Nulo.
"We are extremely excited to bring Roger on board to build up our portfolio of ingredients for the pet industry," said Michael Gill, general manager of feed ingredients at Seneca Trading. "We are incredibly proud to have someone of his caliber and influence in the industry on our team, and we look forward to the leadership and vision he will bring to our expanding operations."
Seneca Trading supplies agricultural ingredients and animal protein to the livestock feed, pet food and biorefining industries. The company sources ingredients through direct relationships with farms and processing facilities.
