In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, which brought severe flooding and damage across six southeastern states, Purina has committed a $25,000 grant to Greater Good Charities, a global nonprofit. This grant will support emergency relief efforts for individuals and animals displaced by the storm. In addition, Purina is donating large quantities of pet food and cat litter to assist impacted shelters and pet owners.

"Our hearts go out to the families and pets affected by Hurricane Helene and the devastating flooding across Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia," said Kim Beardslee, director of community affairs at Purina. "We're proud to support Greater Good Charities' life-saving work during this time of great need."

Greater Good Charities has deployed multiple teams to the affected regions, providing crucial supplies such as food, water, medical resources and survival kits. The nonprofit is also assisting with transporting shelter animals to safety and supporting pet care organizations in the region.

Purina's donation is part of its ongoing disaster relief efforts. Since 2017, the company has contributed more than $400,000 and 700,000 pounds of pet food and litter to support disaster-affected communities across the U.S.
