During Petfood Forum 2025, dsm-firmenich is set to present its latest advancements in pet nutrition as well as showcase a range of ingredients designed to support pet health at all life stages. The company will feature omega-3 solutions, functional premixes, biotics and taste-enhancing ingredients at booth 2307.
Attendees will also get a first look at dsm-firmenich’s upcoming premix facility, which is scheduled to open later this year in the Kansas Animal Health Corridor. This facility is designed exclusively for pet food production, integrating precision automation and containerized transport to enhance quality, safety and traceability.
One of dsm-firmenich’s key innovations at Petfood Forum 2025 will be its algae-based omega-3 solutions, Veramaris Pets and DHAgold, which support brain, eye, heart, immune and joint health in dogs and cats.
Veramaris Pets contains 60% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)—more than twice the potency of traditional fish oils. DHAgold, an easy-to-use powder, has been shown to enhance cognitive function in older dogs and support brain development in puppies.
The role of postbiotics in pet wellness

We mirror this commitment, leveraging decades of science-backed expertise and innovation to deliver high-quality, safe, sustainable, and nutritious ingredients that owners and pets alike will love.”
