Givaudan will make its Petfood Forum debut April 28–29 at the Kansas City Convention Center, exhibiting at booth #1013 to present its capabilities in pet food flavor, functional ingredients and natural colors.

The company, which describes itself as a global leader in taste and wellbeing, will highlight how its portfolio supports manufacturers developing nutritious and palatable pet food and treat products.

Givaudan's exhibit will focus on three areas of pet food innovation:

Personalized wellbeing: The company's botanical and functional ingredients target specific nutrition and health applications. The company noted that according to Mintel, 74% of U.S. pet owners believe pet food should meet the same quality standards as human food.

Human-like meals: Culinary-inspired aroma and flavor solutions designed to improve palatability and pet enjoyment. Mintel data indicates 61% of U.S. pet owners say their pet's happiness and wellbeing matters more than their own, said Givaudan.

Natural ingredients: Givaudan's naturally sourced ingredients and colors address purchase-decision drivers for pet owners. Mintel research shows approximately 41% of U.S. pet owners cite "all-natural" as among the top influences on their dog or cat food and treat purchases, ranking behind only taste and brand name.

Booth visitors will also be able to interact with VAS-Air, a live aroma development tool powered by Givaudan's proprietary VAS technology. The system allows manufacturers to explore and adjust aroma profiles in real time with Givaudan flavor experts, moving from concept to a tangible product direction on-site.

Petfood Forum 2026 runs April 27–29 in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S. Petfood Essentials programming begins April 27, with the exhibit hall open April 28–29.
