Women in Petfood Leadership (WIPL) has released the agenda for its first-ever European event, a breakfast session scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:30–10:30 a.m. at the Istanbul Room, NCC Ost, Nuremberg Messe, Nuremberg, Germany, during Interzoo 2026.
The session will open with breakfast and guided small-group discussions from 8:30–9:30 a.m. Discussion topics will be shaped by survey responses from pet food professionals across Europe, with a host or moderator at each table to guide conversation. Topics will include navigating bias in the workplace, addressing idea or credit appropriation, bridging the performance vs. visibility gap, and balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.
A panel discussion will follow from 9:30–10:30 a.m., featuring accomplished women leaders in the pet food industry sharing perspectives and taking audience questions. Confirmed panelists include Ulyana Fitsa, global chief supply chain officer and head of brand sales in Western Europe at Kormotech. Additional panelists will be announced.
WIPL is also asking industry professionals to complete a short survey to share career experiences, highlight key challenges and barriers, and help shape future programming.

WIPL is an initiative that brings together professional women in pet food to build community through networking, career planning, leadership development and professional support.
