Canidae All Natural Pet Foods announced that it will award four individual $2,500 veterinary medicine scholarships in its 2009 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Program .
The scholarships are open to full-time first and second year graduate students who are currently enrolled in a doctorate of veterinary medicine program at an approved college of veterinary medicine within the United States or Canada.
Students will be asked to write an essay about areas that are a concern to Canidae:
- Training and exercise
- Planned breeding
- Spaying and neutering
- Supporting reputable breeders and rescue groups
- Proper veterinarian care
- Healthy nutrition
The application period is open January 15 through April 15, 2009.
