Whitebridge Pet Brands, LLC, a natural and minimally processed pet food company, completed the acquisition of Arthur Dogswell LLC, maker of Dogswell and Nutrisca treats and foods for dogs and cats.
Dogswell was founded in 2004 by Marco Giannini, who grew up with a German shepherd named Emily. Emily developed hip dysplasia and the unpleasant experience of giving her pills helped Marco realize the idea to add functional benefits right into pet treats to make treats that both taste good and do good. And thus, Dogswell was born.
“At Whitebridge Pet Brands, our team shares a passion for pets and the belief that natural and minimally processed nutrition positively impacts the health and happiness of dogs and cats,” said Amice. “We are very excited that Dogswell and Nutrisca will be joining Whitebridge Pet Brands’ portfolio as Dogswell functional meaty treats and Nutrisca grain- and potato-free foods are complementary to our other brands. Merging the two companies will allow us to leverage our combined structure to better service our distributors and retailers and accelerate our overall growth.”
Whitebridge Pet Brands is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Arthur Dogswell’s office is in Los Angeles, California, and Arthur Dogswell’s manufacturing facility is located in Joplin, Missouri.
