Instituto Pet Brasil brings Brazilian companies to Interzoo

Instituto Pet Brasil plans to bring 15 Brazilian products and services to Germany's Interzoo.

Interzoo is being held from May 19 to 22, in Nuremberg, Germany. The event is considered to be the world's largest pet industry show, and Instituto Pet Brasil is bringing 15 Brazilian products and services companies to the expo center, serving segments such as Pet Food, Pet Care and Pet Services, in addition to a portfolio of ornamental fish breeders.

Together, there are exhibitors from over 60 countries. The last edition of the show, which is held every two years, brought together nearly 2,000 exhibitors from 66 countries and over 38,500 visitors from 126 countries.

"This initiative is part of the Pet Brasil Sector Project, which is a partnership between IPB and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency)," says Martina Campos, Executive Director at IPB, adding that "the goal is to expand the reach of Brazilian pet sector companies. Our industry meets global quality standards and has the maturity to operate anywhere in the world."

The companies taking part in the initiative are: Anilhas Capri, AnimallTag, Durapets, Furacão Pet, Alcon, Interbrilho/Petbrilho/Ekopet, Manfrim, Masterzoo (Megazoo), Mundo Koi, Nutrire, Pet Med, Pet Society, Petisco (Beeva), Nutrivale and Procão.

Positive retrospective. IPB took 16 companies to the last edition of Interzoo, held in 2018; together, they saw a total of US$ 8 million in business generated over the 12 months following the event, in addition to nearly US$ 720,000 negotiated at the expo center. Results exceeded expectations or where far beyond expectations for half of participants.
