Zooplus AG , a German online pet product retailer, has released its financial figures for the first nine months of the 2009 fiscal year.
An overall figure of € 92.5 million (US$139.5 million) was achieved, an increase of 57.2% compared with the previous year. Of this figure, around € 87.6 million (US$132.1 million) resulted from sales revenue from online sales and a further € 4.9 million (US$7.4 million) from other operating revenue.
Zooplus has also stated that it gained 515,000 additional customer accounts compared with 323,000 in the same period last year.
