PetSmart is reported to have increased its net sales by 9.5% to US$1.3 billion in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the same period last year.
The company reported store sales grew 3.9% during the first quarter.
Net income was US$46.3 million in the first quarter of 2009, as opposed to US$41.2 million in the first quarter last year.
