In Los Angeles, California, USA, more than 180 dogs tried out for their chance to appear on the "Havin' a Splash'' float in the 122nd Tournament of the Roses parade.

Natural Balance Pet Food sponsors the float, on which dogs have previously skateboarded and snowboarded. Many different dogs attended the casting call to test their skimboarding skills, including Jack Russell terriers and French bull dogs.

The Tournament of the Roses parade will begin at 8 a.m. Eastern time on Jan. 1, 2011.
