Arthur Dogswell LLC has issued recall for select Dogswell and Catswell brand jerky treats made with chicken or duck, after testing by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets found trace amounts of an antibiotic during a routine product sampling.
Treat products affected by the recall have a "Best Before" date marked on or before January 28, 2015. Brands affected include: Breathies Chicken Breast and Duck Breast jerky, Happy Heart, Happy Hips, Mellow Mut, Shape Up, Veggie Life, Vitality and Vitakitty.
The majority of products were delivered via retail stores or mail order prior to March 1.
Consumers can obtain a refund by calling +1.888.559.8833 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.
