Inspired by the idea of paying it forward and to promote the spirit of giving within communities, Fromm Family Foods will launch a monthlong Buy One, Give One free bag coupon promotion, putting some good into the hearts and bowls of pets in need everywhere.

May 4-31, Fromm email list subscribers will receive a free bag with purchase coupon. Shoppers new to the brand can earn a coupon by subscribing at frommfamily.com. Fromm encourages shoppers to use this free bag as a gift to a friend or family member or a pet-related nonprofit in need.

To support the Buy One, Give One Promotion, Fromm will also be running a photo contest throughout the month of May. Shoppers are encouraged to enter the contest on Fromm’s Facebook page by uploading a photo of their free bag with an explanation of why they chose to pay it forward. Customers may also enter by posting their photo on Instagram or Twitter using #frommitforward. One winner will be selected on June 15 and will receive a one-year supply of dog or cat food for their pet and 1,800 pounds of food to be donated to a pet-related nonprofit, rescue or shelter of their choosing.

“We have seen firsthand the good things supporting your community can do. Our sincere hope is that our customers use this free bag to brighten the day of a friend, family member or nonprofit,” said Bryan Nieman, brand director for Fromm Family Foods. “The #frommitforward social contest lets us take this a step further, hopefully connecting the idea of paying it forward to an even larger audience.”

Fromm’s Buy One, Give One monthlong promotion kicked off on May 4 with Fromm donating more than 10,000 pounds of dog and cat food to nine Wisconsin-area nonprofits and rescues.
